Make the Most of Kornerbooth At Your Next Event
We’ve all been there. It’s the day after formal and everyone is posting their adorable photos with their dates, Bigs and roommates. Your phone lights up notifying you about a photo you just tagged in. It’s a little blurry and your face is half in shadow, but it’s still alright.
Then Kornerbooth uploads 400 photos from your event and you fall right back in love with that night. It feels like it’s happening all over again. As you’re sifting through the photos you find several you absolutely love but a few you wish you had done a little differently. You may see a picture of one of your friends and think, “Wow, I wish I had done that.”
We want you to make the most of your event so we decided to offer you a little help. Here are some tips that will guarantee you make the most of your next event with Kornerbooth.
1. Look through our albums before your event
We are always surprised by the poses our clients come up with. It seems like every album has something new. Take some time to look through our recent albums and find a few shots you want to duplicate at your event. If you’re feeling bold, coordinate a new pose with your friends beforehand. You may even be featured on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Here are a few albums you can check out!
- Dunn- Norris Wedding from Waco, TX
- Phi Beta Phi Formal at Kansas State University
- Kappa Delta Bid Day at Texas A&M
2. Get weird. Relax. Have fun.
This one may seem self explanatory, but sometimes people get a little nervous at the start of the event. By the time everyone is relaxed formal is half way over and your picture time has been cut in half! So don’t waste any time, just start taking as many pictures as you can. Don’t worry about taking ugly pictures, our photographers edit the pictures before posting them online so they’ll pull out any ugly pictures. Our photographers have seen it all and they want you to be yourself. It makes their job fun. The beautiful thing about photographs is that they last a lifetime, so be bold go make memories! If you don’t know what it looks like to get weird… Maybe these examples can help:
-Take a solo shot
-Take a jumping pic
-Take a serious pic
3. Bring props unique to your organization and event theme
We do provide some props but if you want your photos to be unique bring a few of your own. Bring your sorority flag, custom letters, homemade signs, and anything else you can think of. The more you bring the more options you have when creating your perfect picture. For a little advice on customizing your props, check out this blog post on how to DIY Photo Booth Props.
4. Tag us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
Everyday we share some of our favorite photos on social media, but we want to know which pictures were your favorite too! We LOVE it when we get social media shout outs and we’re good at returning the favor. Tag our accounts so we can show you off to all of our followers!
5. Get to know your Photographers
Before the event starts make a point to say hello and learn about our photographers! It will make you more comfortable with them as they take your picture 200 times. Remember, you can take as many photos as you want and our photographers love an enthusiastic group. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, advice, or even to drag them into a picture with you.
If you follow these trips you’re guaranteed to have a great time with us! The most important thing to remember is to be yourself. The photos will capture your personality and they will mean so much more!
